I enjoyed this trip very much but we had an awful trip home. So, I haven't edited many pics from this trip because I didn't want to feel sick all over again. I did manage to get some cute ones though.

A Little Bit of Everything
I have been in a very creative mood lately. Stink Bone's pj's are almost done and I will share a picture when I'm done. Newly listed items are coming to my Etsy shop daily and I have them all pictured here.
First off my sparkly ballerina box with pink fringe, teal polka dots, and glitter! Now available in my Etsy shop.
Now on to my little package adornment for a little girl's birthday. At the center is a little swan lake ballerina and hand glued rhinestones. Decked out in double crepe paper ruffles. Soon to my Etsy Shop.
My new baby banner. I made one a while back and it was quite popular on flickr. Now, I've made one to sell. Powder blue polka dot paper, silver sparkly letters, and satin chocolate brown ribbon. Available in my Etsy shop soon.
Last, I made this little package adornment you can tie onto any little or medium sized package. Soon to my Etsy shop.
Last, we are studying the Letter A this week and have had a great time. Stink Bone made this adorable Autumn picture complete with shingles and fall leaves. Then, we studied ants for the letter A out of this book that was mine as a child. I used his fingers to make ants up the A and down the a. To end our Letter A studying, we went to our local wildlife type park and fed Alligators. He really loves to do that! Now on to the letter B next week.
A couple of weeks ago I made a custom birthday shirt for a local Children's boutique. The little boy is turning one. If you are interested, just leave me a comment.
Thanks for stopping by my blog. I'm always humbled when I have visitors come by.

Quite Busy
I have been quite busy lately trying to tackled a few hundred projects. Not really a hundred but it definitely seems so. I sewed on pair of PJ's for stink bone only to have them completely shrink in the dryer. Mom and I are making them together and we forgot to prewash fabric. So, on to the second pair she is making and I am constructing a pair of vintage type fireman red pants with a cute shirt. Can't wait to show you all!
Next, I am going to paint my room. I have re-done an old dresser complete with new white paint and new knobs. Pictures coming. I need to resalvage an old night stand and repaint my bookshelf. I found wallpaper to line the back for only $.54 brand-new! Woo Hoo. Online I was looking at some gorgeous wallpaper for well $90 or more. It is just going on the back of my bookshelf. In fact the chair I redid from a thrift store in the picture below, the fabric matches the wallpaper for my bookshelf. I went with a powder blue for my room. I wanted to do the Tori Spelling paint color but found out too late what that blue color was. Pictures to follow of my new bedroom or shall I say boudoir!
Etsy shop will have some new items this week. A super cute boy baby banner, a little girl package adornment, and a big girl or boy type package adornment. Soon to come, Christmas shirts for boys and girls.

Birthday Boy
Stink Bone Jones celebrated his 3rd birthday recently by having a wonderful train party. It was a mix of Thomas the Train and vintage. I wish I had a sample of his birthday invitation to share. I think I will have to scan one so that you can see it because they were that cute!
I decided to do a red vintage polka dot flocked paper for the banner and party favors. I then followed into that theme with his 3rd year train track pictures you will see here. I painted peat pots blue and added tissue garland fringe. The handle is a sparkly pipe cleaner. The outside of the pots are decorated with the same papers as the banner and a number 3 for track 3 and his age. I also made a sign for the front door that is now on his bedroom door, picture to follow The train track pictures were actually taken on the evening of his birthday. I will also add party pictures as I finish editing them in Photoshop.
Stink Bone was too funny when people started showing up. I don't think he realized until that point he was having a party with friends. Everytime the doorbell rang, he ran to the door trying to open it. Then, when we sang "Happy Birthday" to him later in the day, his face was priceless. As you will see, he was a bit shy about it an could not believe that everyone was singing to him. I imagine next year will be even more fun!
The day was filled with crayons, playdoh, swinging and sliding, bubbles, cake, ice cream, and popsicles. It was a bit hot outside...I think in the 90's. Regardless the kids were full of juice boxes and popsicles and I don't think they noticed.
Get a kick out of Stink Bone's face, it is full of dirt!
My very talented mother made the cake of course. We went online to look at Thomas the Train cake images and I chose this one. She did an incredible job. It tasted as good as it looks!
The train tracks are always fun for Stink Bone because he gets to stand on real train tracks. We kept looking for a piece of coal but none was to be found. Last time we found a real piece that he carries all over the house. It most recently ended up in the bathtub! Needless to say, he didn't want to leave the tracks. He wanted to walk further down the tracks away from the car.

Picture Catch Up
It is no secret as of lately what my one of my new creative pursuits is, photography. Here I will post my recent train track pictures of stink bone jones. I am having so much fun photographing this little boy! He was over the moon excited while on the train track, Harold, located a real piece of coal! Christian just could not believe that there was a REAL piece of coal on the train track. For some reason, he thinks that every train is a coal train, even though we live in Florida. He does not distinguish passenger train or cargo train, just COAL train. So, to his utter amazement he came in contact with a real piece of coal.
Upon reaching the train tracks, I was so wrapped up in where I would shoot, on which side of the track, what camera settings, etc.. that I hardly noticed my son's intense excitment. Astounded that we were really walking on train tracks, he repeated over and over again, "Real train tracks, real train tracks..." It was too cute when I snapped out of my camera reverie to his cute little words about real train tracks. We did have so much fun and I cannot wait to go back for seconds.

Easter Sneak Peak
Finally, something other than Lollipops. Although there were some lollipop pictures taken. This is just a sneak peak of one of many adorable Easter pictures taken in the park the other day. This is the main reason I have not made one single Easter decoration this year, nor participated in any swaps. I'm too involved with taking and editing these pictures!
I have to say, the day was just beautiful! Perfect weather, low humidity, sunshine, and happy toddlers (for the most part). My friend Kristie is the mommy to these gorgeous girls and a fellow aspiring photographer as well. Although, I think she already is a photographer. She caught such gorgeous pictures of my son which made it into my Easter card. People from around the park stopped to take a peak at our little ones. My son, stink bone jones, thought the tea party thing was a good idea. He has never been to one before.

Oh yes, Lollipop Lollipop
I'm crazy with these lollipops but they are so much fun! And as I've said before, they keep stink bone jones still enough for pictures. This is exercise 3 in "Understanding Exposure". I really do not know what I'm doing still but I do like the way these turned out so light and pastel like. I think it overexposed a bit but creatively I like it. I still can't figure out how to read my EXIF data to figure out what the exposure is on these. Enjoy!

Le Wreath
The newest addition to my Etsy shop is Le Wreath. I really adore this wreath! If I don't sell it, I will keep it all to myself. Made from hotpink tulle and millinery from brandywine it is perfect to hang in a little girl's room or a big girl's too! It took quite sometime to make so I am pleased it is now complete!
